ABSTRACT
Liposarcomatous differentiation within a phyllodes tumor is fairly rare with only 35 cases in the literature. Our case of liposarcoma arising within malignant phyllodes tumor showed extensive adipous differentiation ranging from mature fat to well differentiated liposarcomatous areas. Complete excision with negative surgical margins was performed for the therapy and 25 months follow-up postoperatively showed no recurrence or metastasis.
